A Little Bit About David P.

David Pollan was born in Philadelphia and currently resides in South Jersey.  He is the author of the Mark Derringer thriller novel series.  David a former automotive technician and now a full-time web developer.  Currently, he writes in his part-time.  However, he does hope to make a successful career in writing, in the future.

When David isn’t working or writing, his other interests include various kinds of art (ranging from industrial design to photography to digital painting), music (in multiple genres), and retro video gaming.  He is also an avid classic car enthusiast.

Books I Like…

There are a few books that have really grabbed my attention and sparked my imagination. Among them, The Maze Runner series by James Dashner and the Nina Wilde & Eddie Chase thriller series by Andy McDermott. Plus I’ve also read a few of the classic sci-fi novels like Fahrenheit 451.  But my all time favorite book is The Giver, by Lois Lowry. I remember reading this book back when I was in Jr. High. It was the first book that really made me think and got my imagination going. Sure I had creative writing ability before I read it, but It was the first book to truly open my creative potential. Ever since then, I’ve had a great appreciation for stories about the future and worlds we can only dream of.
